Position Objective:

  • Lead harmonization efforts with regard to the documentation required by regulatory agencies for the design and production of automated systems.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assesses current documentation for all automated systems, develops and executes action plans to harmonize, maintains global documentation repository and reports out on status (75%)

  • Works closely with system designers, vendors and product managers to define, establish and enforce documentation best practices for automated systems (10%)

  • Communicates directly with management and customers on documentation (10%)

  • Stays current on regulatory requirements for automation and computer validation. (5%)

  • Travel: Global, yearly average of 10%

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline. Other educational backgrounds considered when combined with understanding of the market and technical material

  • 3-5 years of industrial experience in a regulated environment preferred, emphasis on leadership capabilities and breadth of understanding.
