The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Marketing Director EMENA & WA. This marketing leader plays a key role in the success of the growing Cepheid’s digital marketing capabilities. This role interacts with management, marketing, global brand, sales and IT.


• Accountable for developing, implementing and executing Cepheid’s digital marketing strategy and channels including lead nurturing, marketing automation, trigger-based email programs, search marketing, and analytics.

• Create the mechanism to deliver a greater number of high quality marketing qualified leads to the sales organization via digital channels

• Identify new promising digital Marketing channels to drive additional growth

• Develop business process and tools for integrating digital channels into marketing campaigns

• Interest in the medical field or in infectious diseases, experience in this field is a plus

• Develop business process and tools for the creation and optimization of impactful campaign web sites

• Educate and train other team members on Digital Marketing

• Develop analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of Cepheid’s digital marketing campaigns

• Works across the organization and functions effectively to align resources to provide a customer-centric approach

• Effectively manages change

Job Requirements



• Bachelor’s degree, preference for marketing, business or communications

• Minimum of 5 years of digital marketing experience

• Growth hacking mindset

• Experienced in a multi-lingual environment

• Basic understanding of Ecommerce

• Experience in developing and built digital marketing capabilities from the scratch

• Demonstrated experience and successful track record in search marketing and display advertising

• Experience in driving Change

• Experience with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and Marketing Automation software – a certification in those areas is a plus

• Creative, out of the box thinking mind-set

• Experienced with SEO

• Experienced in project management

• Experience in Diagnostics or Medical Device a plus

• Digital Native which is always up to speed re the newest trends in digital Marketing

• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and data-driven decision making

• Fluent in English, any other European Language is a plus
