Description

As a Design Engineer within Pall you are co-responsible for the development and production of new products in close collaboration with our sales colleagues and our project managers.
  • A development starts with the demand for a new product by the customer. As a Design Engineer you support project managers with the development of new Pall products and their related projects. You translate customer requirements into product and production drawings and you examine their technical feasibility;
  • At Pall, our Sales Department often designs customer-specific products. As Design Engineer you assess these designs and adjust them where necessary with a view to Design for Manufacture and Assembly in the cleanroom;
  • Where necessary, you develop 3D drawings of components in Inventor, and initiate connection tests in order to qualify components for further use;
  • As Design Engineer you also have the responsibility towards the production plant. This implies, amongst others, the approval of production files and the support of the production staff in the cleanroom, if any technical questions should arise production.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Experience with both 2D and 3D CAD Software; 
  • Experience with plastic processing and injection molding in general is a plus. (However, a sound technical background together with a structured and vigorous project approach form a good basis for starting a career in our fast-moving environment) 
  • Higher Technical Degree (HBO training in a technically oriented direction; e.g. Mechanical Engineering);
  • Demonstrable experience with CAD software, e.g. AutoCAD or Inventor;
  • Relevant experience in a comparable position;
  • Representative and communicative skills;
  • Due to the international setting of this position, fluency in both Dutch and English are mandatory.
