Description

The Demand Generation Manager manages the Food & Beverage demand generation team, all advertising and promotional (A&P) activities and builds the annual F&B marketing tactical plan.  Their efforts aid in building our brand presence, ensuring that customers and potential customers receive our messaging resulting in the generation of sales ready leads.
  • On-time and on-budget project management: The manager prepares an annual marketing tactical plan that assists the Product and Market Managers, and the overall organization, in meeting the business objectives. They own the execution of our A&P plans through the use of both internal and external resources.
  • Champion for launch excellence: The marketing manager partners with the Product and Market Managers to drive successful product launches to meet revenue and lead targets. They will work closely with the Product and Market Managers to build out fully integrated marketing campaigns driving NPDs and strategic initiatives. 
  • Financial management of the A&P budget: The marketing manager is the traffic manager for A&P dollars going in and out of each business segment (product, mini-market and region) based on strategy and business needs.  In addition, this individual negotiates with 3rd party suppliers with Pall’s best interest in mind and seeks out new providers that add value to our A&P plans.
  • Lead management owner: The marketing manager owns the forecasting and tracking of marketing metrics including the F&B visibility list, marketing qualified leads, lead conversion and funnel additions. The manager is responsible for evaluating new and different vehicles and content quality to drive lead generation and conversion. 
  • Web content development: The manager is responsible for working with the product and market managers, content developers and digital team to improve SEO and ensure web content is QARA compliant.
  • Talent Development: The manager is responsible for attracting & developing a top class talented and   diverse global team.
The Essential Job functions include:
  • Manage, develop and motivate direct reports including global team of content, campaign and event managers. 
  • Manage and monitor programs and projects to achieve Food & Beverage global promotional goals and lead generation targets. (25%)
  • Formulate campaign plans for new product launches and initiatives ensuring consistency and relevance to global strategies. (25%)
  • Manage A&P budget and communicates budgetary information as defined by management. (15%)
  • Contribution to creation and maintenance of web content. (15%)
  • Evaluates new promotion vehicles and manages internal and contract resources for campaign and project execution. (10%)
  • Creation of standard work on critical processes for in-house staff and outsource partners, along with training to ensure understanding. (10%)
  • To understand and strictly enforce current Pall corporate identity guidelines in all marketing communications materials and presentations.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with other Pall departments and to elicit the support and involvement of these departments in meeting sales goals.
  • Work with Sales Management to develop, support and implement business strategy.

Qualifications

Position Competencies 
  • Knowledge of and practical experience with integrated marketing communications programs coupled with a general technical understanding of food and beverage applications
  • Experience in measuring marketing ROI and ability to use and analyze the marketing & sales funnel to drive improvement
  • Excellent writing and verbal communications skills, strong project and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and multitask in fast-paced environment.
  • Innovative, creative thinker and self-motivated, able to work cross-functionally and independently and   motivate others.   
  • Comfortable presenting/discussing marketing issues at all levels of own organization, in front of customers, channel partners, and suppliers
  • Strong technical knowledge & understanding of English, both spoken & written
  • Computer experience and proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
