Description

Beckman Coulter develops, manufactures and markets analytical products that are used in control and monitoring of pharmaceutical and electronics manufacturing environments and quality control of pharmaceutical and other materials in air, gas, oil and water.  Our systems are found in pharmaceutical, aerospace and electronic manufacturing, off shore drilling, and in laboratories where quality control of materials is vital. Our life science customers include pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, universities, space launch, and research institutions. Beckman Coulter has an installed base of more than 275,000 systems operating in facilities around the world.


Responsibilities:

We are looking for a scientist who will serve as the customer instructor for our Liquid Handling Automation products. This individual should possess a strong blend of technical, analytical, and training skills.  The instructor will lead and engage in the following activities:



  • Teach basic and advanced customer training classes


  • Design and develop applications-focused customer training courses and curriculums


  • Manage the training lab and ensure all training safety, quality and regulatory requirements are in compliance with standards and agencies such as: ISO, GMP and FDA


  • Utilize LMS tools to administer and track training and certification

Job Requirements



Qualifications


  • MS or PhD in Biological Sciences

  • Experience in teaching and training development is required

  • Experience in operating Liquid Handling robotics and automation is required

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in using Beckman Coulter Biomek products is preferred

  • Experience in managing laboratory and cleanroom operation is preferred

  • Experience in GLP and GMP is preferred

  • This role will be based in Indianapolis, IN

  • Up to 25% travel
