Description

Summary:
This role will report to the Operations Manager. The role will be responsible for several Sales Operations functions possibly including but not limited to the following areas. To also support and facilitate Good Governance, Compliance & efficient administration of the Processes for HACH UK and Ireland business.

Key Tasks:
  • Ensure imports and exports are correctly logged with HM Customers and Revenue
  • Preparation of all customs and excise documentation as required
  • Co-ordinating the delivery and shipment of customer orders to destinations throughout UK and IE and returns outside UK
  • Managing any delivery issues that arise and ensuring all queries are fully resolved
  • Ensure all queries regarding import or exports are promptly answered
  • Liaise between Suppliers, Forwarders and agents to obtain up to date shipment information
  • Provides general & administrative support for HACH sales channels
  • Liaise with order management for delivery follow up
  • Work closely with Internal Service Sales to support drive growth and continuous improvement
  • Interface and support Sales & Service Administration and Logistics  
Other duties assigned:
  • Handles incoming calls from internal and external customers
  • Enters customer orders (phone, fax, or written) into the company’s order entry system 
  • Liaise with order management for delivery follow up
  • Other duties as required by Management

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an Import/Export role

  • A qualification for the Institute of Import & Export
  • Must be familiar with the legal requirements regarding importing and exporting shipments
