Effectively manage customers’ requirements including orders projections, quotations, purchase orders, delivery schedules, part number clarifications, and terms and conditions.  Provide commercial (i.e. develop pricing, negotiate as necessary, obtain purchase orders, and provide assistance through the delivery stage) support to customers  The position will assist Sales Management in formulating and implementing Pall Aerospace’s overall sales strategy.

Forecast / Order Management (60%)
  • Collect forecast data and apply specific customer methodology to support monthly order projections. 
  • Responsible to pull data from each customer portal and provide sales and operations with any changes to shipment schedules. 
  • Manage customer portals and Pall shipment schedule to support customer shipment guidelines.
  • Forecast conversion to firm orders and align lead-time and customer need dates. 
  • Load customer forecasts into SAP. Work with operations on weekly SAP alignment, developing plans for schedule lines based off forecast needs. 
  • Measure historical forecast against actual shipments and document trends and/or anomalies for LTA customers.
  • Consignment fill up order entry for specific customers.
Customer Interface (20%)
  • Forecast conversion customer alignment: Verifying Pall forecast aligns with customer schedules.
  • Liaise with other Pall departments and facilities to meet customer requirements
  • Establishes professional customer relationships with appropriate customer personnel. (Delivery Assurance and Supply Chain)
  • Provide customer feedback to Sales Management and Marketing
  • Lead customer meetings specifically to address customer schedules and demands. 
  • Participate in customer portal management and proactively inform customer of Pall status and issue resolution
  • Track and challenge OTD (On Time Delivery) hits
  • Date/transit time changes
Administrative (20%)
Participate in SIOP Process as needed. 
Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related area required.  In lieu of the degree, 5+ years  of experience working within Aerospace is acceptable.
  • OEM Customer portal management and customer inventory balance experience required
  • Must have financial and business acumen
  • Proficiency in the following software:  SAP, MS Office
  • Be able to travel domestically
  • Candidate is a strong communicator who is well organized, flexible, a team player, and tenacious. 
  • Positive attitude, dependable, adaptable, responsible, self- motivated, professional, confident, and loyal.
  • Must be able to work to deadlines
  • Work independently with little supervision
  • Self –starter and a quick learner
  • Travel to customer sites as required (5%)
  • Experience using a CRM is desirable
US Citizenship or Resident Alien status required to support government programs and projects
