Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Receive customer orders by fax, e-mail, EDI, mail or phone. 


Perform clerical processing operations needed for completion of order or customer request.  Typical duties include completing standard order forms, order entry in Oracle system, price quotations, verifying credit release of order, processing credit card payment requests and may also include setting up new accounts.  Heavy phone usage.


Must be familiar with the accounting system to answer inquiries related to account balance, invoices and monthly statements. 


Responsible for processing simple to complex customer orders or requests, record searches, investigation of problems/complaints.  Strong understanding, interpretation and enforcement of company policy for adjustments or corrections. 


Required to exhibit clear, mature and professional communication skills, with emphasis on telephone skills and etiquette.  Must speak clearly and display sound business analysis and investigation for customer and product information; have strong concentration and obtain feedback for verification of information.


Research complaints concerning billing, products and services rendered and escalating complaints to appropriate departments when necessary. 


Required to exhibit strong ability to prioritize and document as needed.  Display attention to detail, consistency in follow-up and ownership of all orders and calls.


Must be proficient in both order processing and professional customer service skills.


Must be proficient in conflict resolution skills.


Required to follow specific instructions with detailed technical information or instructions of product line and product use.
