POSITION SUMMARY: 
The CPQ Specialist is responsible supporting the implementation of a new global Configure Price Quote (CPQ) system. This position will help to implement our requirements in the system, customize and modify the system to meet our company needs and support our business processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Translate business requirements into CPQ system and configure and customize the CPQ system to meet the internal customer requirements 
  • Design technical specifications, leveraging best practices and minimizing the need for custom coding
  • Provide internal CPQ consulting to improve the business process to driving growth
  • Define project scope, document business requirements and develop technical requirements for developers as needed
  • Analyze data and business processes
  • Create test scenarios and do solution testing   
  • Functional and technical CPQ support as well as troubleshooting of (integration) issues
  • Develop training materials; prepare and support admin, power and end user trainings
  • Support the set-up of integrations to existing business systems 
  • Project management and project documentation

Job Requirements



Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a talented professional with profound Configure Price Quote (CPQ) system implementation experience. The candidate has a strong customer focus, is action oriented and works well in a global environment. This individual will be a strong communicator and team player who is able to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Education and/or Experience 
  • BA or BS degree in a technically related field or equivalent technical work experience
  • 2+ years proven experience designing and developing effective and efficient technology solutions using CPQ applications (such as Apttus, Oracle CPQ, Salesforce CPQ) 
  • Experience as CPQ administrator or as CPQ consultant having strong knowledge of administration and configuration possibilities
  • CPQ certification(s) a plus
  • CPQ Developer experience a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Successful project management experience
  • Proven effectiveness in working with other associates in a global cross-functional team
  • Capability to analyze and evaluate complex business processes
  • High degree of independence and self-initiative
  • Good time management and working structure
  • Good English and German language skills
  • Occasional willingness to travel
