This is a key Commercial Leader role within our EMEA organization. The objective is to develop, implement and integrate growth strategies for LBS business along with our associates across all product groups of Advanced Staining, Core Histology & Pathology Imaging sales for the target Country. Increase market share through effective market leadership and developing and growing our associates. Essential to this position will be the “drive for results” mindset to make true the “Best Team Wins”.

  • Define Country sales strategies and market potential across all product groups in partnership with the EMEA Growth and Marketing departments;

  • Drive execution on the field for the Leica Biosystems Future Vision

  • Deliver country P&L (including service and customer care) annual targets

  • Lead, integrate and coach a culture of account management;

  • Lead and drive a culture of strong funnel management across the sales organization;

  • Support and lead a culture of continuous improvement via leveraging Danaher Business System and set expectations for high performance across all areas and organization levels;

  • Drive organization design to effectively distribute resources to support business needs

  • Lead and enable the development, inclusion and the performance and retention of direct reports and their teams;

  • Maintain and encourage a high level of communication across the Country to support associates’ development and engagement

  • Attract, hire and retain the best and diverse talent with the skills to develop the business

Job Requirements


  • 10/15 years of working experience in relevant commercial roles in Diagnostics Industry;

  • Ability to drive business success through managing customer needs, demonstrating consistent and impressive drive to bring change in support of growth and improved customer experience;

  • Strongly customer oriented (both internal and external);

  • Proven track record as a developing and enabling people manager;

  • Strong communication skills and sound business acumen;

  • Capable of building constructive and effective relationships both inside and outside the organization;

  • Proven ability to troubleshooting complex scientific/technical problems;

  • Ability to identify product improvements and effectively communicate their benefits to the development teams;

  • Demonstrated skills of influencing change within organization in a matrix reporting relationship environment

  • Strong time management and organizational skills;

  • Critical thinker and able to play in a global and complex environment;

  • Continuous improvement mindset;

  • Language requirement: Local Language plus English
