Description

Core Function:
Provide visiting service engineer management which includes providing all safety training, escorts to and from labs, permits, and updating respective databases.
Job Specifications:

Supervision Received: Supervision provided by the on-site SiteMAX manager
Equipment and Mechanical Aids Used: General office equipment such as a computer, printer, scanner, telephone.

Specific Duties:

May be required to perform any or all of the following as assigned:
  • Perform safety orientation for laboratory equipment technicians and engineers
  • Escort laboratory equipment engineers to the laboratory and back (lots of walking)
  • Issue safe work permits, job safety analysis, and pre-task analysis cards for laboratory equipment installation, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Document work orders and update records in Maximo
  • Coordinate maintenance work on laboratory equipment
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with laboratory owners, team members, and equipment service providers.
 

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma. 
  • Min 2 plus of MS office suite experience
  • Min 2 plus years of customer service experience
  • Must be open to working on your feet all day
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Safety background  is a plus
  • Strong Analysis and Judgment skills are a plus
