Description


Position Objective:



Maintain QMS, SmartSolve management and administrative support; QARA Questionnaires; KPI reporting; Document control management, Training Administration, Audit administration, Regulatory requirements.



Essential job functions:





  • Responsible to maintain Media QMS to meet ISO 9001 requirements; identify and implement/maintain specific standards to QMS


  • Coordinate the implementation of regulatory standard work and training provided by Corp QARA and /or Legal & Compliance, within the media manufacturing sites as directed by the BU QARA


  • Responsible for the management and use of Pilgrim SmartSolve at Media Level (Complaint, Audit, Document Control, QMS Training). Act as the Media SME, responsible for Media associate training.


  • Media complaint coordinator/gatekeeper: Assign investigators for complaint investigations. Follow through action completion.


  • Escalate complaints based on potential risk to site & Media management.


  • Provide reporting data for QARA KPI's and other QARA analysis as required.


  • Prepare data for biannual management review meetings.


  • Manage Media Suppliers in terms of periodic evaluation, audit schedule, KPI's.


  • Coordinate responses to customer questionnaires, certification requests and surveys; prepare and maintain/update standard responses/data for use by Customer Service.


  • Prepare regulatory responses / complete questionnaires on product specific enquiries related to product manufactured by media sites for Customer Services, Product Management or site Quality.


  • Responsible for labeling changes to assure appropriate regulatory requirements are included.


  • Assure product compliance to required Corporate and BU regulatory PEC requirements (ie. REACH, ROHS, TSCA, California-Prop-65).


  • Required to follow all practices and procedures regarding safety compliance safety including OSHA, cGMP, ISO 9001 & ISO 14000 requirements


  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements



Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in Science, Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry with 2-3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing quality & regulatory environment along with 1-2 years’ experience using and/or managing a Quality Management System.  In lieu of preferred degree, equivalent work experience of 8 – 10 years’ working in a manufacturing quality & regulatory environment with 5 – 8 years’ experience using and/or managing a Quality Management System. 


  • Knowledge and proficiency in data gathering and analysis


  • Problem solver using tools to ensure a systematic approach


  • Preferred Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement knowledge
