Compliance Manager

Position Objective 

To support the Chief Compliance Officer and other senior members of the Legal & Compliance Department in the development and implementation of our Compliance programs with a particular focus on Pall’s client on-boarding program (CPTK) and other Compliance initiatives. Will also assist with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Essential Job Functions

CPTK (60%)
  • Responsible for the global administration of Pall’s client on-boarding program (CPTK).
  • Develop, update and maintain best practices for CPTK.
  • Coordinate and execute Pall’s annual CPTK requirements, globally.
  • Develop and conduct various compliance training presentations to maintain a well-informed and educated staff.
  • Actively drive and manage the client due diligence process.
  • Work with local management and associates to maintain compliance with channel partners / distributors and internal requirements for due diligence and ongoing compliance trainings.
Privacy (20%)
  • Maintain a current understanding of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and data privacy regulations
  • Responsible for working with Strategic Sourcing to maintain GDPR compliance for Pall’s affected suppliers, including analyzing current supplier agreements.
  • Administer and negotiate data privacy addendums with affected suppliers
  • Conduct periodic privacy risk assessments to help ensure compliance with all privacy-related laws and regulations
  • Oversee investigation and response to inquiries and complaints related to data privacy
  • Work with business partners regarding the use and disclosure of customer information 
Other – (20%) 
  • Assist with development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Legal & Compliance programs, policies, and procedures.  
  • Assist with various legal and compliance projects as needed.

Job Requirements


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 7+ years of legal or compliance experience, preferably in a large law firm or corporate legal compliance setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technology-savvy; proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to identify and effectively manage and resolve compliance issues.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills, to include managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects and reporting progress and risks to colleagues, CCO, and other senior members of the Legal & Compliance Department.
  • Significant knowledge of global channel partner due diligence process.
  • Experience in reviewing and evaluating third party diligence investigations of channel partners and overseeing a channel partner management program for a global business.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, multidisciplinary organization.
  • Professional maturity and confidence in expressing a point of view with associates and management.
