Description

This position will be a key member of the Corporate Compensation team supporting the major compensation processes including maintenance of compensation structures and survey administration across Danaher.  The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for interacting with external administrators, Human Resources/Compensation teams across Opcos and Platforms related to the compensation processes.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Manages compensation structure analysis, salary survey participation, and compensation planning administration. 

  • Conduct job evaluation, FLSA review and market pricing analysis to support compensation recommendations in accordance with compensation policies.

  • Work with HR Operations team to ensure HRIS system meets requirements for compensation data/reporting needs and impact to annual compensation cycle (merit, bonus and equity).

  • Compile global merit budget, update merit matrix grid, and model cost impact. 

  • Assist with development of new and redesign of existing compensation programs.

  • Collaborate with compensation and human resources colleagues on compensation initiatives and projects including Workday process improvements and bonus harmonization. 

  • Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Provide support to global human resources team and managers on compensation related questions/issues. 

  • Act as backup on Workday issues and equity administration.

Job Requirements



Qualifications


  • BS or BA Degree required (concentration in Finance/Economics/HR preferred)

  • Certified Compensation Professional designation preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in compensation, preferably in professional services/consulting.

  • Advanced proficiency in excel.  Knowledge of Workday a plus. 

  • Experience in data analysis and synthesizing large amounts of data to identify trends and issues. 

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to keep information confidential, work independently and balance multiple priorities

  • Work effectively in a lean/decentralized/complex/fast paced environment

  • High attention to detail and sense of urgency

  • Must be organized and possess strong time and project management skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
