This position is responsible for contributing to the corporation’s strategic goals in communicating with our employees and customers. In addition, the position is responsible for managing organizational change activities to support internal programs.

The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted internal communications partner, working across the organization to define internal communication objectives and lead efforts to ensure all communications are integrated and aligned with individual business lines and the company’s broader communication strategy and format. 


As the Manager of Communications and Change, you will be a leader within the HR team and will build a unified messaging experience across the company, ensuring there is a single “voice” that represents ChemTreat’s brand and identity. 

Reporting to the Vice President HR, the Manager of Communications and Change will lead collaborative and creative messaging initiatives among leaders and associates at all levels. You will craft and maintain our messaging tone and associate relations. The role will plan and execute organizational change strategies in support of process improvement, technology upgrades, and other corporate changes.


  • Recommending, developing, and delivering strategic, creative and efficient communications programs including writing content

  • Collaborating across the organization to deliver an internal content marketing strategy for the ERP program, as well as measuring and reporting results

  • Developing and maintaining an internal communications calendar designed to educate, motivate and provide regular information to associates

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders from Human Resources and Marketing to enhance ChemTreat’s digital footprint as part of external branding initiatives in the talent market

  • Responsibility for ChemTreat content on social media including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter

  • Establishing templates and tools for maintaining a consistent approach to regular communications

  • Working closely with the senior managers and business partners to gather information about critical topics and priorities, developing communication content based on this information

  • Developing and coordinate recurring executive communications

  • Developing and implementing appropriate metrics that evaluate the success and impact of internal communications strategies and initiatives, including teammate feedback to allow continuous improvement of the actual communications and the messages

  • Establishing corporate communication policies, processes and functions

  • Conducting final copy editing of all corporate communications as required

Job Requirements



  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing, proof reading, and speaking

  • Experience managing corporate change initiatives impacting job roles, processes, and technology

  • Ability to think and act strategically and proactively

  • Ability to address audiences of varying sizes internally and externally

  • Ability to exercise sound business judgment

  • Proficient computer skills relevant to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to details

  • Organizational agility and ability to adapt to change

  • Domain expertise in communicating across multiple social media platforms.  


  • BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related discipline

  • 6+ years’ experience in communications, particularly in Business to Business (B2B) or complicated buying scenario environments

  • Experience in strategic integrated marcom; managing the development and execution of integrated programs comprising public/media relations, advertising, direct mail, digital marketing, brochures and other communications tools.

  • Experience developing and leading the execution of change management initiatives; experience participating in or leading change management related to ERP systems preferred

  • Demonstrated success working in matrixed and team environments.

  • Excellence in managing multiple, deadline-sensitive projects, keeping internal clients informed, and drafting publications on behalf of executive teams

  • Demonstrated familiarity and experience with digital forms of communications (social media, digital advertising), as well as understanding of measurement/ROI metrics

  • Demonstrated experience delivering results in a fast-paced, high-performance work environment

  • Experience developing and executing on Employer Branding Initiatives and leveraging social media to attract talent pool by broadening and improving digital footprint preferred

  • Experience conducting needs assessments and developing communication strategies based on results


  • Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk, stand, climb (includes stairs), balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell

  • Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.

  • Routinely required to reach with hands and arms, squat, turn/twist, or reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
