GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Commercial FP&A Manager leads financial planning and analysis efforts for USP Technologies. This includes performing monthly comparisons of actual results to plan, forecast and prior year analysis, preparing reports and metrics for ChemTreat and Danaher Senior Leadership, and providing analysis and leadership to drive business results. Additionally, this role should provide strategic sales operations analysis with the primary objective of enabling commercial leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions supporting profitable growth in North America. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ownership of the annual budget process
  • Publish monthly standard reports of the monthly key performance indicators
  • Responsible for conducting detailed analysis necessary to explain the performance of the business
  • Responsible for the management, analysis and reporting of field sales and operational data
  • Participate in sales meetings (i.e. Forecast calls, Funnel Review, etc.) to provide sales leadership team with a quick assessment of the impact of sales initiatives through Salesforce planning
  • Perform advanced analysis activities, including defining, measuring and communicating core operational metrics, identifying trends by customer, Industry Segment, and product

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA a plus
  • Knowledge of US GAAP preferred
  • Experience using financial reporting tools such as Excel, DB Cube environment, Tableau, PowerBI, and Hyperion
  • 5+ years experience in finance roles
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Strong analytical skills and business/accounting knowledge
  • Advanced Skills in data analysis, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to review key problem areas and suggest new approaches to address business issues
  • Independent thinker who can think outside the box
  • Results oriented person that generates creative solutios
  • Must be comfortable with change and continuous improvement efforts
  • Able to clearly communicate and synthesize relevant findings and financial data to all levels of management
  • Strong Interpersonal skills; Teamwork & Leadership skills

  • Organizational skills; Self-management
