Description

The job holder is responsible for Commercial Excellence activities providing operational and hands-on support to the business. The Commercial Manager will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders on developing tools to assist performance management processes such as forecasting, pricing, target setting, problem solving processes, etc, across India.

Structuring

1.     Improve forecasting process

•         Comply with APAC requirements (format, timing)

•         Implement & Drive Standard Work around FC submission

2.     Implement & manage APAC Funnel Management process within the India commercial team

•  Implement Funnel Management Process & integrate into Asia Pacific reporting schedule

•         Conduct monthly funnel reviews to develop funnel health and growth

•         Manage India bowler to track performance against targets & drive to root cause action planning where necessary- Visual Management Boards.

-       Will be trained by APAC commercial team for deliverable on point 2.

3.     Target setting

•         Refine annual regional targets based on regional roll-up (bottom-up).

•         Align targets with APAC targets

•         Conduct routine business reviews with General Manager/Leadership Team

4.     Reporting

•         Conduct routine reporting to ensure visibility and accountability at front-line

•         Daily/Weekly/Monthly actuals

•         Upload repository on share point as Standard Work

•         Define & own India KPI’s, build KPI file and set Standard Work for monthly updates

•         Responsible for India price realization analysis and review, including monitoring progress in-year to drive margin expansion

-Report to be defined for commercial excellence, finance reporting to continue with finance.

-Segregation to be decided between finance and commercial excellence.

5.     Pricing

•         Responsible for India price realization analysis and review, including monitoring progress in-year to drive margin expansion

•         Manage India price approval process, including reviewing and escalating per DOA

•         Chair India “Pricing Committee” for price reviews and approvals

To be trained at price workshop in Singapore.

6.     Discount approval

•         Review DAF with RSM/ASM

•         Propose from a commercial perspective to GM and Controller

•         Check approval funnel daily and prompt the next approver to approve

7.     Incentives

•         Work with General Manager & HR to define ICP for regional sales and support roles

•         Monitor quarterly performance in cooperation with Finance & HR

8.     Tools

•         Monitor quarterly performance in cooperation with Finance

•         Deploy commercial excellence tools SFDC, DOMO, Excel standard reports and any other Standard Work- To be trained by APAC commercial team.

All other duties as required- with respect to commercial excellence role.

Developing- To be assisted and trained by GM/APAC

Job Requirements



Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business/Marketing/Finance or a related field is essential

-        Minimum of 8 years of experience in business intelligence/analysis, sales support, distributor management, sales management, and/or marketing roles in the region.

-        Strong communication skills in English

-        Competent with business software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SAP, at a minimum)

-        Ability to travel up to 40% in-country and internationally (as required) to attend training sessions.
