JOB SUMMARY: 
Perform Field training and sales support functions for Dental Service Organization (“DSO”)/Special Markets clientele in an assigned regional territory by providing effective instruction on the company’s products and/or related services in support of vendor agreements.  Provide introduction of and communication on Implant Direct’s product information, services and features that will enhance the client’s organization.  Secure clinical support at the office level.  Support education offerings through technical hands-on assistance/training, and co-hosting educational programs as required.  Forecast future education requirements.  Prepare reports as required and record all activity in CRM system (SalesForce).

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
  • Identify and secure opportunities to develop and enable new “DSO” office engagement.
  • Promote/sell/secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Direct and manage field rep training activity within a designated territory on behalf of the DSO platform.
  • Work closely with the Special Markets Sales Managers to identify new DSO opportunities, grow existing DSO accounts, and deliver proper rules of engagement for each office.
  • Follow up (by phone, email, or in person) on education needs submitted to clients.
  • Establish professional client / Implant Direct relationships with appropriate client personnel (purchasing, dental assistants, office managers, dentists, and key contact/point persons.)
  • Submit weekly activity / call report concerning client related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning client / Implant Direct relationships to the Special Markets Manager.
  • Perform all assigned duties in the assigned territory, including but not limited to meeting or exceeding all sales goals and initiatives.
  • Conduct product training sessions at client locations (i.e., Lunch-and-Learns, evening programs, Regional meetings DSO annual meetings etc..)
  • Provide a territory training forecast on a monthly basis.
  • Record all training activity and client contact information in CRM system (SalesForce).
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides excellent product education to clients. (Addresses compatibility and mating parts issues, etc.)
  • Attend and generate sales at various training events at the instruction or direction of the DSO Director and / or Commercial Leader - US. 
  • Continue to maintain and develop product knowledge on current and new products.
  • Performs any directly related appropriate duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
  • 1 year experience educating or training
  • 1 year of clinical experience and or knowledge
Preferred Requirements
  • 3 years of outside sales experience in a business that manufacture, sells, and distributes own product(s); OR at least 10 years outside sales experience in dental/medical device OR 5-7 years in office clinical experience working as RDA, RDH or Implant Coordinator. 
  • Bachelor Degree
  • 2 years  technical and material knowledge of the products in the dental field preferred.
