Description

Purpose of Position

The Clinical Specialist will:
  • Train, educate and establish standards of practice for use of company products 
  • Act as clinical liaison between Business Development Representative, physicians and patients 
  • Attend national and regional trade shows to promote product recognition in the marketplace and assist in identifying potential leads.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Accompany Business Development Representatives as needed to support and work with local physicians for training and follow-up
  • Demonstrate competency in assessing learning needs, conducting training programs and teaching programs and technical clinical staff
  • Demonstrate initiative and a level of expertise in use of company products to serve as a resource to customers
  • Establish standards of practice in the use of company products to ensure exceptional care and patient/physician compliance
  • Able to react to change proactively and to perform essential tasks assigned
  • Establish and maintain relationship with KOLs

Qualifications

Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Dentistry/Bachelor of Science or related discipline.
  • Experience: Min 7 years of clinical experience in medical/dental device/equipment industry and/or consumer. Good knowledge of orthodontics products is highly regarded.
  • Travel: High (above 50%) in country
  • Self-starter, high business and entrepreneurship acumen.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented and meticulous.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and relationship development skills.
  • Ability & willingness to lead and work in a matrix organization with direct & indirect reporting relationships.
  • Possess dedication to teamwork and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to grasp and analyze situations quickly and at the same time to create and implement innovative ideas to build strategies for implementation in a structured way.
  • Maturity, positive approach to problem solving, good business instincts, well developed sense of personal accountability.
  • Comfortable with both Western and local business practices and work cultures, and able to bridge them seamlessly.
