Ormco provides orthodontists with brackets, wires, adhesives, and ancillary supplies used through the course of treatment.

Ormco believes the direct contact of its sales force with orthodontists facilitates the identification and verification of market trends and new product opportunities. Ormco works closely with orthodontists to improve existing products and develop new products primarily through its Champion programs in which selected orthodontists assist Ormco in designing, developing and ultimately educating users on new product and technique innovations.


Description

Purpose of the position 
  1. Train, educate and establish standards of practice for use of company products 
  2. Act as clinical liaison between Business Development Representative, physicians and patients 
  3. Attend national and regional trade shows to promote product recognition in the marketplace and assist in identifying potential leads.
Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Accompany Business Development Representatives as needed to support and work with local physicians for training and follow-up
  • Demonstrate competency in assessing learning needs, conducting training programs and teaching programs and technical clinical staff
  • Demonstrate initiative and a level of expertise in use of company products to serve as a resource to customers
  • Establish standards of practice in the use of company products to ensure exceptional care and patient/physician compliance
  • Able to react to change proactively and to perform essential tasks assigned

Job Requirements



Qualifications


Education
  • Degree in Dentistry/Bachelor of Science or related discipline.
Experience 
  • Min 7 years of clinical experience in medical/dental device/equipment industry and/or consumer. Good Knowledge of orthodontics products is highly regarded.
  • Travel: High (above 50%) in country
  • Self-starter, high business and entrepreneurship acumen.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented and meticulous.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and relationship development skills.
  • Ability & willingness to lead and work in a matrix organization with direct & indirect reporting relationships.
  • Able to react to change proactively and to perform essential tasks assigned
  • Possess dedication to teamwork and commitment to excellence
