Description


  • Actively support the Sales activities such as demonstrations, product and application trainings, product presentations with main focus related to KOL and Non-Leica customers (N1/N2).

  • Create product & application material to help the sales force to increase the confidence and knowledge on the products & applications.

  • Use an agreed European Methodology and its tools carry out the agreed Action Plans & activities in the territory in order to achieve Sales and Profitability targets.

  • Help to evaluate product sales trends in comparison with competitive products.

  • Track the reasons why we win and lose the deals.

  • Direct appropriate actions to increase market shares by setting priorities and push product promotion to optimize results.

  • Propose countermeasures in case sales forecast might not be hit with high priority.

  • Plan and carry out regular visits to existing customers (Leica KOL, L1) to continually monitor requirements and satisfaction levels, business trends and competitor activity.

  • In close collaboration with the marketing department and the sales force, support events such as Live Surgery to congresses, workshops and symposia.

  • Help in Launch phases of new products.

  • Close liaison with After Sales Support in order to close service issues in the most short period of time.

  • Close liaison with the European Demo Centre (EDC) Demo coordinator to ensure best efficiency and utilisation of demonstration resources in area.

  • Establish good and profitable business relationship with 3rd party suppliers.      

Job Requirements



Qualifications


  • Bachelors or Master degree (or equivalent in experience)

  • Technical background is recommended.

  • Minimum 4 years of field service experience in surgical microscopy, or business related to Microsurgery

  • Strong communications – sound business acumen.

  • Proven record of successful selling or supporting of similar products.

  • Ability to drive business success through demonstrating consistent and impressive sales growth over a period of time.

  • Technical ability to demonstrate microscopy equipment.

  • Fluency in German and preferably in another European language (English, Spanish)

  • Travel requirement is up to 80%
