Clinical Application Specialist 
Territory: NC, FL, GA

The Clinical Application Specialist provides the necessary training and education to customers in the Pre-analytical, Analytical and Post-analytical operation of their instruments.

  • Provide continuing education to Radiometer customers. This would include advance training product workshops in assigned region. 
  • Respond to customer needs concerning clinical questions or problems. 
  • Establish a routine and continual follow up for current and prospective customers to determine satisfaction with Radiometer products. 
  • Assist in installations and demonstrations as needed to support sales and SITs. 
  • Perform various duties as directed by the Senior Manager, Commercial Excellence and Regional Sales Manager.

Job Requirements


Position Specific Competencies / Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in: hospital or research experience with medical capital equipment, laboratory, or similar clinical background. Experience in blood gas analysis, Immunoassay, and hospital data management systems preferred.
  • Respiratory/Clinical background
  • Inside or Outside Sales experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift or maneuver 40 lbs 
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to work independently within a cross-functional team. 
  • B.S. or A.S. degree, preferred in Medical Technology or Respiratory Therapy or Clinical Biomedical
  • English
Office Technology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft CRM and Qlikview (BI tool) would be preferred.
Travel (required estimated % of time): 75%+

Car Program 
  • Participation in the Company’s automobile program is a requirement of this position. You will receive a company car to conduct company business in accordance with the program provided that you meet the eligibility requirements of the program.

Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects across critical yet often fluctuating deadlines.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.

  • Must be self motivating with a positive outlook and focused on quality work. Plan day in an organized manner and pays attention to details and accuracy.

  • Must communicate timely and accurately with upper management and internal departments such as Field Service, Customer Service, Finance, Bids and Contracts, HR, IT.
