Description

The incumbent functions as a key account manager for sales and sales related activities for diagnostics product line within the BC organization.  Primary tasks are to co-operate on building of BC Mediterranean/SEE region vision and strategy, manage all sales and marketing projects through all sales channels, coordinate and manage third party providers.


The function includes overall pre sales and post sales activities together with single marketing projects such as product presentations, planning or analysis and budget preparation and management of the team. Additionally product and application expertise support for customers including key product lines.

Key responsibilities:

Pre Sales Activities


Build and nurture relationships with Channel Partners to provide sustainable growth in the region


Understanding and analysis of specific customer needs in the broad geographies


Planning of sales activities and initiatives for the region


Managing relationship and compliance with all third parties in the region


Actively searching for new clients and business opportunities and maintaining business relationship with current


Provide detailed sales support to CSA/supporting teams for tenders specifications and offers


Provide detailed support to Regulatory and Affairs processes in the countries


Quoting and profitability analysis for key business initiatives


Managing budget/spending and operation profit in the region


Contribution to launches of new products/product lines cooperating with regional product manager


Contribution to market analysis and segmentation cooperating with regional product manager


Active work with clients, customer visits and activities to end-users to sell BC products


Post Sales Activities


Collect on a regular basis product and competitive information


Monitor product performance, market acceptance and competitive activities within defined territories


Contribute to organized customer meetings in defined territory


Control/monitoring of profitability of existing contracts


Preparation of budgets and forecasts


Creation of initiatives for enhancement of business/ new cycles

Contribution to the global marketing actions/initiatives, adjustments for local markets if needed


Job Requirements



Qualifications

 Job Requirements Include:

  • Minimum 4 years working  experience in international company/companies with end to end responsibility for  sales revenue

  • Key account management experience in mixed models direct/non direct sales of medical products/devices

  • Candidates should have working experience in a multinational company and familiar with matrix reporting structure

  • IVD experience is an advantage

  • Practical market/customer knowledge in at least one of the countries: Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia

  • Cross-country experience is an advantage

  • Science degree preferably Diagnostics, Biology, Biochemistry, medical technology or any relevant Science degree.

  • Fluent English is a must, any local language of the three main countries is a plus. (Greek , Romanian, Serbian, Bulgarian)

  • Ability to travel approx. 60%
