Work with Agela Brand outside of China.  The main purpose is to facilitate the growth of Agela brand in each region, ie; NA, EMEA, APAC. This person must drive core growth in conjunction with the Country Heads, Regional Sales Managers, International Business Development Managers and Regional Directors

Further, this person must act as a liaison between the Agela Corporate Office and the Phenomenex Corporate entity in Torrance to help drive other CVDs such as OTD. 

The role must also drive international expansion and initiate/ and grow the Agela sales strategy thru multiple channels. This incorporates working together with International Business Development personnel, Phenomenex Finance, Phenomenex Logistics, Phenomenex Legal and possibly other Danaher Operating Companies to determine best case scenario for growth in countries outside of China. 

Job Requirements


-        Facilitate and ensure success of Agela sales and marketing operations outside of China including and not limited to; part number maintenance and integrity, database growth and integrity, collateral availability/inventory, and product ordering and inventory

-        Develop & implement strategic plans for International and geographical expansion of Agela’s business, sales channels, and distribution channels with specific emphasis in NA, Europe, Asia and APAC regions.

-        Handle day to day inquiries, problems, concerns etc and provide direction, solutions and communication to each occurrence.

-        Lead monthly forecasting of Agela sales outside of China to assist in production, inventory, shipping and sales

-        Facilitate communication between Agela office and all PHX Offices; Grow and Expand Business in each Direct Office ensuring the Agela brand goals are in line with core growth and other CVDs.

-        Be willing to travel (up to 25% of time)

-        Has a positive attitude, is a team player and strives to learn and contribute to the company culture, helps to teach the culture and attitude of Phenomenex

-        Performs other job-related duties as requested

-        Submit regular reports to the management



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Chemistry, Business Management, or similar required.

  • Requires analytical thinking and presenting ideas.

  • Experience in Microsoft office and Database Management.

  • Extremely skilled in the art of negotiation.

  • Strong organizational skill, plans and assigns resources in a detailed fashion

  • At least 5 years of experience in Sales

  • At least 6 years of experience in Sales Management

  • At least 3 years of Experience in business development of mature markets (Europe) or high growth markets (Asia)

  • Valid Driver’s License Required.
