Description

Position Objective: 

As an Integrated Solutions Manager, you will be part of shaping the future of the Biotech Industry. As a Key Member of our Sales Teams you have the responsibility over the sales of integrated manufacturing solutions for strategic and high value biotech projects. You will achieve this with Pall’s own game changing technology’s. This position will have a focus on Continuous Bioprocessing, consequently a strong appreciation and understanding of Biotech manufacturing particularly of monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins is essential.

Role and Duties:

• Meet or exceed monthly and annual orders targets via direct sales activities with customers, and by collaborating with other Pall Sales Team members & technical departments.
• Ensure that customers’ needs are met in a timely manner and sales opportunities are won.
• Position, present and demonstrate Pall Biotech systems and consumables in collaboration with technical specialist teams.
• Establish strong relationships with clients to successfully promote Pall Biotech’s upstream and downstream technology platforms, services and capabilities.
• Gain critical insight on customer biotech/biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and formulate.
• Develop strategies and support solutions that simultaneously expand our Biotech business by gaining market share in existing and new accounts.
• Leverage relationships with, and knowledge of, customers to identify capacity expansion opportunities.
• Work closely with various core functional groups within Pall to formulate and direct an effective team strategy.
• Report and communicate all business opportunities, solution concepts and strategies and provide feedback to product development teams.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

BSc, MSc in biological science/biochemistry/biochemical engineering or general life science/engineering or relevant field.  PhD is desirable but not essential.
Extensive experience with biotechnology technologies.
Demonstrable and successful sales track record within the life science or related technologies.
Expert understanding of the biotechnology/biopharmaceutical manufacturing process flow.

• The ability to lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
• Lead others to solve complex problems and identify innovative solutions.
• Able to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view.
• The ability to earn credibility and trust and form strong relationships by drawing on excellent communication skills to develop and express confidence in ideas and strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work efficiently and independently to accomplish project objectives.
• Able to lead others and work effectively in cross-functional teams and within a matrix environment.
• Available to travel 50%.
• Familiarity with cGMP requirements for bio-manufacturing.
• The ability to visualize and position appropriate biotech product solutions at different unit operation levels.
• Consultative selling skills.
• Cross functional and cross cultural (geographic) leadership skills.
