Molecular Devices is seeking a Sales Professional responsible for the sales activities associated with the BioProduction Development product platform in the South West US. A Sales Professional is required to build and maintain strong customer relationships directed toward growing Molecular Devices’ market share, revenue and profitability year over year.
•Build and create new opportunities to drive revenue growth
•Meet business targets for BPD instrument, service, reagent, and consumable sales through effective management of designated territories.
•Identify key targets in Pharma, BioPharma, Biotech, CRO, Environmental Science, and Academic Research.
•Maintain customer information, sales cycle, pipeline, and future opportunities in CRM database.
•Develop on-going, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company.
•BS Degree or higher in related Life Science discipline
•At least 3 years sales experience. A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated sales success (top 15% of peer group)
•Life science sales experience a must, preferably in biological, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology markets.
•Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SalesForce CRM.
•Results oriented – has track record for delivery results, takes ownership and is accountable

•Customer Service oriented – high sense of urgency
