    Manage team of buyers, stockroom specialists and technicians of the purchase, inventory, kit, build and debug phases of capital equipment in support capacity expansion activities. For each of those phases ensure on time schedule, in budget cost and regulatory quality including environmental health and safety is met. Partner cross-functionally with engineering, science, finance and program management to achieve the above.


    •Lead the day-to-day activities of the manufacturing team of technicians, assemblers and material coordinators
    •Assign resources to meet project schedules
    •Provide technical leadership, training and mentorship to the team
    •Put in place tools and methods that would increase productivity and efficiency
    •Communicate progress and provide ideas /solutions to address technical and logistical issues
    •Write and implement area SOP’s for manufacturing activities
    •Improve/Optimize material procurement, inventory and kitting processes
    •Maintain/Ensure a safe working environment
    •Review and improve the existing manufacturing documentation and change management
    •Participate in continuous improvement discussions and provide ideas and feedback
    •Ensure quality standards are maintained in an FDA regulated, process driven environment
    •Hire top talent and promote retention by developing employees to achieve their career objectives
    •Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines if necessary
    •Be able to travel (up to 10%) to other international company sites to assist with installations and/or other critical/escalated support needs
    •Review/Approve Engineering Change Orders
    •Represent Automation Manufacturing and be a stakeholder and decision maker in cross-functional meetings.


    •Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
    •For people managers, ensure your associates attend and complete all required trainings satisfactorily and on time.

Job Requirements



    Education and Experience (in years):

    Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience OR
    Master's degree with 7+ years of experience
    Knowledge and skills:

    •Working knowledge of precision mechanisms, pneumatics, servo systems, electronics, vibratory feeders, sensors, vision systems, ultrasonic welding and heat sealing
    •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    •Highly organized and able to motivate
    •Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and electrical /pneumatics schematics diagrams
    •MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer literacy
    •Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others and have a positive attitude
    •Must be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy
    •Must have ability to prioritize and plan to meet deadlines


    •Knowledge of regulatory requirements (cGMP, FDA, ISO13485)
    •Knowledge of PLC controls system
