We are looking for a techno commercial person with minimum 6 years (write suitable experience) of work experience in similar fields to grab the growth opportunities in this growing segment. 




Description

Hach Company manufactures and distributes analytical instruments and reagents used to test the quality of water and other liquid solutions. We are looking for a techno commercial person with minimum 6 years (write suitable experience) of work experience in similar fields to grab the growth opportunities in this growing segment. 
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Drive sales growth and increase market share in (describe area/region/city)
-Deal with customers in Oil & Gas, Food & Beverages, Chemical, Municipal, Pharma segments
-Manage customer relationship and ensure customer satisfaction through product and services
-Develops, implements & sustains comprehensive account plans (sales, marketing and service programs/strategies) to achieve annual booking and sales numbers 
-Meet weekly customer visit targets and generate sales opportunities 
-Prepares and maintains all sales documentation (Sales Funnel, Client Profile, etc.) and ensures updated maintenance of the CRM system
-Understand customer requirement and offer correct product/technology solution. Ensure timely submission of technical and commercial offer.  
-Regular follow up with customers to conclude the order  Coordination/Teamwork with supply chain & Service teams to ensure fulfillment of order to customer satisfaction.   
-On time payment collection from customers  
-Monitor and analyze competition activities in the sales territory  
-Drive and execute actions to deliver results in key focus areas.

State the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the jo. There are 3 categories
 
1. Skills & Competence -  must have a. Minimum 3-5 years of sales & business development experience in instrumentation/chemical engg field. 
b. Understanding and experience in analytical instrument field will be strong advantage. 
c. Prior experience of working with customers either from Power, Oil & Gas , Chemical , Food & Beverages , Pharma & EPC companies  
d. Experience with major MNCs will be an advantage.
 e. Sales people who are hunters, scouting for prospects and pursuing people who could become customers. 
f. Excellent presentation skills and competence in MS office and  

2. Soft Skills :-   a. Self-starter and must be comfortable working independently  b. Proactive and action oriented 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
d. Has a good EQ and strong interpersonal skills and ability to forge long term relationship s 
e. Teamwork and ability to work across cultures, locations and business teams  f. Is open minded  
g. High on integrity  
h. Smart personality 
 
 
3. Candidate “no-go’s” –  a. Experience below 3 years in direct sales
 b. Computer illiteracy 
c. Candidates without matching experience.
