To provide support for the field sales and service departments (including National Accounts) with the objective to ensure the overall business goals of the organization are met.


1. Administrative Support to:

•Sales Director(s)

•Sales Operations Director

•Marketing Director

2. Primary coordinator of HemoCue for all new hires and visitors

3. Engagement leadership with coordination of quarterly awards Brea based and field based, service awards, and other engagement support activities including Winners Circle trip

4. Field Liaison

•Information coordinator for field Sales and Service teams

•Process regional trade shows

•Problem resolution

•Customer relationships

•National Account relationships – act as a liaison by fielding questions from the main GPOs and funnel to appropriate contact.

•Daily review of Gov’t sites such as ebuy for blood gas RFPs

5. Project Management

•Responsible for coordination of Kick Off Meeting/National Sales Meeting (hotel, food, transportation).  Monitors expenses and budget control.

•Responsible for coordination of Management and LT meetings.

•US operating company and global headquarters sales contests (tracking and coordination).

•Calculate annual sales and service awards.

•Special region and territory mapping projects through MapPoint for Sales Manager, Service Managers and TC Sales Manager.

•Process National Account commitment/designation/participation documents.

6. Territory Assessment and Benchmarking Reports to Sales Managers as requested.

Job Requirements


a)  Position Specific Competencies / Experience

•5+ years of administrative support or equivalent experience

•Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

•Attention to detail.

•Knowledge of HemoCue products and operations.

•Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MapPoint.

b)  Education

•Associates Degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experience

c)  Language


d)  IT

•Advanced MS Office skills, Outlook Word, Excel, Internet

e) Travel (required estimated % of time)
