Description

The Assembler 1 role will complete assembly of mechanical, electrical, and cabinetry components as assigned by production supervisor. This role follows work instructions closely to ensure that quality standards are met.   Additionally, role will ensure that documentation requirements are followed. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assembles parts following work instructions as trained.
  • Uses hand and power tools to fit and adjusts part to meet the assembly requirements of the product. 
  • Documents assembly process as trained.
  • Identifies quality issues and defects, raises concerns to the attention of the supervisor or manufacturing engineer.
  • Responsible for meeting daily production goals.
  • Responsible for upholding quality, safety and 5S standards.
  • May train new associates on assembly.
  • May perform other duties, from time to time, as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

The Assembler 1 must be able to read, comprehend, and follow assembly work instructions closely.  The Assembler 1 must be able to communicate quality, safety, or other concerns to team members, manufacturing engineers and supervisors.  Additionally, the Assembler 1 must be able to meet physical requirements of the job: lift up to 35 pounds, complete assisted lifts of 35-50 pounds, push or pull containers on a pallet jacks, repetitive bending and stooping, and may require occasional lifting overhead.
Education and/or Experience:
  • 1 year of assembly in manufacturing environment
  • High School Degree or equivalent
