The candidate will join the immunoassay technical support team based in Chaska, MN.  The Applications Scientist II plays a critical role in providing customer support for the global support organization through the maintenance and communication of technical documentation, training materials and troubleshooting tools.  The scientist also works closely with marketing, development, and manufacturing associates on project teams to ensure our products meet the expectations of our customers and our global support organization.  

The successful candidate must demonstrate working knowledge of clinical laboratory operational requirements; understand basic statistics; effectively work in cross-functional team settings; able to collaborate with hospitals, clinics, and reference laboratories and demonstrate a sense of urgency and commitment to global customers and support specialists.  

To be successful in this position the candidate must demonstrate the following:

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related field with 2+ years exp. OR  Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years exp
  • 2 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred 
  • Prior technical support experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Ability to travel globally as needed
