Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION


This role will be instrumental in assisting with the daily accounts payable functions by ensuring timely payment of invoices and other accounts payable services.  The Accounts Payable Specialist works with corporate teams to resolve payable issues.  


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares the necessary documents support for invoices’ payments and/or accounts payable services.  

  • Weekly payment to suppliers and invoices reception that comply with the established requirements; validates electronic invoices.

  • Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

  • Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.

  • Verifies accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies and problems daily with orders, invoices, shipments and payments.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administrator or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Billing and Revenue Recognition
  • 2-3 years' previous leadership experience
  • Must be fluent in English; Spanish language knowledge preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft (Word, Excel) skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS 
  • Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk, stand, climb (includes stairs), balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell
  • Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards. 
  • Routinely required to reach with hands and arms, squat, turn/twist, or reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
