The Position is essential for the OTT HydroMet AgMet business success as the agronomist is the application link for plant protection and Irrigation customers. The role will focus on providing application support on plant disease models and irrigation processes based on high-resolution microclimatic data. In addition, the role will be crucial for innovations in the pant protection and irrigation decision support software by supporting the R&D team with UX and providing new plant disease models.
Negotiable : 4.812,50 € gross monthly salary with willingness to pay according to the collective wage agreement.

  • Global support of key customers in the field of crop protection and Irrigation (Application Support)
  • Responsibility for market positioning of addVANTAGE Pro Software (Crop Protection & Irrigation Decision Support Service)
    Planning and execution marketing activities together with our sales and marketing team Describe the result to be accomplished
    Focus on priorities and relative importance of responsibilities
    Conduct AgMet specialist lectures and customer trainings
    Validation and programming of disease models into the application software
    Further development of products (HW & SW) in coordination with the Research & Development department

Job Requirements


  • Ability to quickly establish significant credibility, trust and support with agronomical customers as well as with the OTTHydroMet sales, marketing and R&D teams in a multicultural environment
  • Master in agricultural science, agricultural biology or a comparable degree with an affinity for the digitization of agriculture
  • Knowledge in the areas of crop protection and phytopathology as well as in the use of pesticides
  • Good MS Office applications
  • Good English Skills spoken and written
  • Structured working attitude
  • High flexibility and resilience in an international work environment
  • Willingness to travel 20%
