Job description:

The purpose of this job is to perform Immunoassay testing and analysis within the Reagent Manufacturing QC department.

Job Summary:

The Technician Quality Control role is responsible for carrying out product assessment testing and analysis complying with GMP and in accordance with Beckman Coulter, Inc. Chaska procedures.

Timely and accurate completion of all related documentation is a key part of the role. Personnel will also ensure that the laboratory and equipment are maintained to a safe and compliant standard. Recommends and assists in the implementation of changes to policies and procedures as appropriate.

Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Basic understanding of statistics. Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing and Danaher Business System is a plus.

Assists in training, assigning, and reviewing the work of lower level employees.

This position is M-F, 8AM-4:30PM

Job Requirements



• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field with 3 years’ work experience in the Biomedical Industry or Master’s degree with 0-2 years of experience.  

• Previous leadership experience preferred.

• Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing or DBS tools

• Experience working with ADAM and other web-based applications

• Must work well with others and understand how to be successful in a team environment

• Computer skills must include experience with Microsoft word and Excel.

• Basic understanding of statistical analysis is needed.

• Responsible for complex assignments where independent judgment, action and initiative are necessary in resolving problems and making recommendations.

• Meet regulatory requirements and follow policies and procedures.

• Receive minimal supervision.
