The Account Manager holds a responsibility which consists of generating and developing Sales on his specific Region/Accounts/distributors and support Technical/product awareness to the local team.
Key Responsibilities:
1.           General Sales responsibilities
Prospective and nurturing customer visits to promote Leica’s portfolio.
Support agencies in the region doing all the pre sales, demonstration, and closing contracts in
the country.
Enrichment of Leica’s customer database via prospective visits and support of marketing
activities (road shows, workshops, exhibitions, etc) aimed at increasing visibility and creating
Develop actions and initiatives to meet the assigned Sales/Strategic Products Target.
Insures data integrity in SFDC for his own region/OEMs and applies Funnel Management to drive Sales growth.
2.           Management of Key Accounts:
Develop partnership by establishing and implementing plans to offer customized solutions which meets Key account or distributor expectations.
Insure continuous support and overall customer satisfaction.
Insure exposure of Key Accounts to multiple management / functional levels at Leica and leverage the relationships to strengthen the partnership.
3.           Acts with Integrity:
Always acts with the highest standards of ethics and proactively promotes the company’s code of conduct and culture (DBS)

Job Requirements


Minimum 5  years of strategic selling experience in a B to B sales environment.
Experience with sales using Agent as strategic channel partners
Sales experience involving sales of high technology industrial microscopy products through direct sales and/or regional distributors is required.
Excellence in modern sales methods
Experience in working in an international environment and matrix organization
Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactively promotes cross-divisional & collaborative work (Application, Marketing, BU, Service, etc).
Education: Scientific, Engineering, or related bachelor degree required,
Language: Fluent in Italian and English
Travel: Position requires intensive travel across Italy
