X-Rite/Pantone, a Danaher company, named one of the “Best & Brightest Companies to Work”, is seeking a Web Developer to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Satisfy customers by meeting their expectations regarding quality and delivery of projects, support and customer service.
2. Support the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) for assigned projects – from project definition to implementation and sustainment (and continuously work with team to identify and remove waste in the process).
3. Regularly obtain customer input and data and use this information to generate insights to drive improvement.
4. Adhere to SDLC standard work (and work with team to continuously improve the process).
5. Secure all sites and applications in accordance with industry and company standards. 
6. Understand prioritization of projects based on customer input and company priorities.
7. Participate in Daily Management meetings (and lead meetings on a rotating basis).
8. Maintain accessible and useful documentation for web site and web applications.
9. Assist in maintaining, tuning and monitoring company web servers for performance, availability and security.

Job Requirements


1. 3+ years of relevant experience required.
2. High School degree/GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. 
3. Proficiency in .Net (C#, VB.Net, .Net Core), MS SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX required.
4. Understanding of all aspects of the software development life cycle (requirements analysis and definition; system design; development; integration and testing; user acceptance; deployment; maintenance; post implementation review).
5. Working knowledge of website architecture, network infrastructure and desktop operating systems.
6. Willingness and ability to learn, support and recommend new technologies consistent with the company objectives required.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) to deal effectively with a variety of people (both technical and non-technical) throughout the company.

Preferred Experience:
1. Experience with SiteCore 8.x or higher. (Certification a plus)
2. Experience in MVC, WCF, WebAPI
3. Experience in MySQL, PHP and other web-based languages.
