Danaher`s Water Quality Business is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Hach is seeking a Video Producer/Editor to support the creation of various video experiences that engage customers and influence marketing qualified leads. The ideal candidate will have experience planning and facilitating studio and field-based video production work including, pre-production audience identification, determining video content type, messaging and scriptwriting. Ideal candidates will also have post-production storytelling experience including editing, motion graphics, color correction, audio sweetening, and encoding. Candidates with experience directing video shoots is a plus. This position will also be responsible for managing and archiving all media generated during the video production process.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with Manager of Creative Operations, campaign managers, product managers, and creative development managers to produce a variety of high quality video experiences for both external and internal audiences.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships across all functional areas, including corporate and senior leadership via video production work.
  • Contribute multiple innovative approaches for video storytelling that tracks and drives viewer behavior online.
  • Manage all video productions; including script writing, planning, casting, directing, and managing post-production and final video output.
  • Collaborate with Cinematographer to storyboard and design video look and feel.
  • Design and use motion effects in accordance with overall production concepts.
  • Manage and archive all video media, providing videos to stakeholders as necessary.
  • Provide limited troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment.

Job Requirements


Education, Background and Skill Requirements:

  • 4-Year Degree required, as well as, any combination of education and training, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.
  • Minimum 4 years professional video production experience for B2B or B2C companies.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Adobe Suite of products.
  • Skill and ability to creatively plan and translate abstract concepts into effective visual form.
  • Work with technical and non-technical staff directing video productions, including working with customers or internal clients to be comfortable in front of the camera.
  • Research and implement developments and applications of state-of-the-art video production skills/processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills, natural process orientation and a positive attitude.
  • High degree of responsiveness and interest in exceeding expectations for creative development.
