Position Summary:
The University Recruitment Manager (URM) is an integral part of the Global Talent Acquisition team. The URM will have responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of university hiring strategies in accordance with Dental Co’s global early career talent goals. This role is responsible for partnering closely with business leaders, human resource leaders and hiring managers to design a university recruitment process, obtain early career demand and develop the recruitment strategy to effectively fulfill that demand. In doing so, the URM will identify, sustain and advance university, diversity and vendor relationships to ensure the attraction, conversion and hiring of a diverse talent pipeline. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop standard work for recruitment strategy, governance and execution.
  • Partner and collaborate with business, human resource leaders to ensure an understanding of the global early career needs.
  • Implement strategic recruitment plans with partnering organizations to effectively meet global business talent needs, (Undergrad and MBA).
  • Establish effective relations with target universities and diverse organizations to build long term sustainable relations and employer brand loyalty.
  • Identify, manage and train campus and diversity engagement and assessment team members. Serve as university best practice and knowledge source for teams to ensure flawless execution and enablement of strategic execution. 
  • Develop, implement, manage and report recruiting metrics and daily management to drive toward demand fulfillment.
  • Utilize UR systems efficiently in accordance with standard work
  • Ongoing partnering with operating companies to gain thorough understanding of immediate and future talent needs to fulfill existing and future talent gaps.
  • Act as a champion for early career talent by appropriately and continuously communicating successes and wins throughout the organization to enhance credibility and reputation.
  • Continually challenge the status quo and push Dental Co to evolve to remain competitive and cutting edge on campuses and diversity conferences.
  • Work with VP Talent Acquisition to support other TA projects as needed.

Job Requirements


The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator, intellectually curious and have a strong work ethic.  The individual must be a strategic thinker and self-starter with the bandwidth to function as a though leader and executor. The role will also require you be able to multi-task and work on several key projects at a given time.  It is important that the individual have superior interpersonal and collaborative skills with an ability to work with people at multiple levels both inside and outside of Dental Co.  The candidate must be globally minded and able to champion early career talent and diversity.

  • Will manage his or her time effectively and have superior planning and organization skills
  • Will be a self-starter and proven team player capable of influencing without formal authority and prioritizing his or her own work.
  • Must be comfortable working in a high-energy, quickly changing and demanding environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degree a plus
  • 5+ years of talent acquisition recruitment experience
  • 4+ years of University recruiting experience
  • Able to travel upwards of 75% during peak periods; 30-50% during non-peak periods
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Demonstrated success in achieving goals and metrics
