Description

The main scope of the role is to provide expertise in the fields of medical device testing and test model development to support verification activities of newly developed products.A main part of the activities is dedicated to support the internal customers of Nobel Biocare.




Main Responsibilities:



  • Prepare and perform Product and Material Testing for the support of the product development process

  • Prepare and perform product approval tests according to international standards (Regulatory application)

  • Development of test concepts (i.e. designing of test set-ups, development of new test methods based on biomechanical principles).

  • Analysis of test results including statistical evaluations and compiling the results in test reports.

  • Communicate and discuss the results with the biomechanics team, research and product development.

  • Ensure an operational laboratory infrastructure (i.e. organization of maintenance and calibration)

  • Implementation of new SOP’s

  • Manage external test providers and resources

Job Requirements



Qualifications


  • “Dipl. Techniker/in HF/TS“ (or equivalent) degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or materials science or professional experience in dental prosthetics and restorations (dental technician)

  • Experience with working in a regulated environment

  • Skilled/Experienced in testing technologies and measuring applications or ideally the field of dental prosthetics and restorations

  • Experience with being part of an interdisciplinary project team

  • Knowledge in biomechanics / medical devices regulatory affairs / ISO Standards/ GLP is a plus

  • Motivated by applied research on medical devices

  • A systematic, result-oriented work style

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) and good knowledge of German (at least B2 level)
