This is a key commercial enabling position partnering with our Customers, Sales and Service teams for Northern Europe. This role is key to upskilling and leading the way in „best practice “tender submission.  This will include but is not limited to driving the optimal representation and completion of the tender submission process; quotations and partnership for services contracts and follow up throughout. Support the regional Customer Care team with any other Customer Care related task if required.


  • Lead the tender submission process; through ongoing partnership with our sales and service teams 
  • Develop Best In Class approach of the Tendering Process for Leica Biosystems, Northern Europe, and help develop 
  • KPI measures that track improvement of the tendering delivery process (on time completion) as well as the effectiveness (increased tender win rates).  Use SFDC (SalesForce) as the only tool for tender quotations, have system skills to retrieve all relevant and required customer information from the available systems/resources (SFDC, SAP, other). 
  • Process tender related service orders/contracts within defined timeline and invoice accordingly
  • Support any other area of the Customer Care department as needed.

  • Understand the current state and enable best practice leadership of the tendering process for the Leica Biosystems, Northern Europe. 
  • Acquire and enable best practice of the contract and quotation process
  • Acquire and maintain a knowledge of the products and internal understanding of  internal Account Management structure and customer segmentation
  • Build a strong partnering relationship with the regional Customer Care Team, and network with other regional Tender teams.
  • Build strong partnering relationship with the UK & Ireland commercial organisation (Sales, Marketing, Service, and Business Unit)
