Description

Do you have a background within Supplier Management working with continues improvement activities related to supplier performance ensuring commercial and regulatory requirements? Then this job is your chance to utilize your knowledge of ISO 13485 to contribute to the headquarters in a global Medical Device company. Join Radiometer’s Procurement team to help ensure the delivery of parts that we use to create and run the medical devices that help caregivers make diagnostic decisions that save lives.

Your responsibilities
We are certain that your technical knowledge and curiosity is an integral part of what motivates you at work. After a thorough onboarding process, you learn how we improve performance from our vendors through collaborating closely with them. All along, you ensure that we comply with our quality system, SOP’s and aligning our work and procedures to ISO 13485. Finally, you take the responsibility of the following tasks divided in the 2 areas: 

Supplier Compliance:
• Maintain and develop the Supplier Qualification/Approval process for Supply Base Management 
• Support the implementation of best in class supplier quality management processes that drive improvement.
• Ensure our procurement procedures are compliant to the regulations and standards for medical devices

Supplier Quality:
• Perform and assist quality review on supplier base
• Perform and assist with supplier approval and qualification
• Partner with the Quality Department, Value streams and R&D to continuously improve supplier relationships.
• Support the evaluation and risk categorization of suppliers based on key performance metrics including audits, quality objectives, and complaints.
• Collaborate with global teams to drive resolution of supplier quality issues
• Participate in supplier development activities 
• Travel to and from supplier locations to resolve escalated Manufacturing, Quality, Technical and supply issues and investigations, as well as facilitate overall Quality improvements to proactively prevent supplier issues.

Collaboration with R&D, Operations and QA
You collaborate with your friendly colleagues from production as they report Non-conformity trends to you and you escalate the necessary quality issues to the suppliers. Close collaboration with R&D to understand technical requirements.  . Discussing the regulatory prerequisites and setting the quality standards in close collaboration with QA is also a natural part of the job. 
Overall, we expect the job will contain travelling equivalent to less than 30 days per year.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

You might have a bachelor’s degree or higher related to a technical area such as mechanics, electronics, production or chemistry. This combined with the following increases your chances of success in the job:
• Experience with Supplier Quality from the Medical Device Industry
• Thorough knowledge of ISO 13485
• Good collaboration and communication skills
The job is in our Procurement team, but we do not necessarily expect you to have experience from a similar team. The vendors are located in Denmark, the rest of EU, US and Asia. A good understanding of different cultures is therefore a plus.
