Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions:

As a member of the EMEA AP Financial Shared Service Center as Senior Accounts Payable Associate you will be responsible for initiating, monitoring and daily executing of controls and activities of the various AP processes for 24 entities to ensure efficient recording of transactions and reporting according to the corporate accounting policies.

Tasks include, but might not be limited to:

-       Support and backup to EMEA FSSC AP Manager

-       Control of payment runs

-       Control of Direct debit processes

-       Weekly maintenance of clearing accounts for AP

-       Communication with external suppliers and internal approvers

-       Vendor master data control

-       Monitor and review AP mailbox for complex issues

-       Support AP team with any queries

-       Interim cost controls and report out

-       Deliver support to VAT and audit questions

-       Review and prepare accrual and prepaid accounting

-       OPEX result investigation

-       Monthly reconciliation for AP related accounts


Job Requirements


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

-       A minimum MBO/HBO level education (or equivalent) in Finance

-       Accounts Payable and General Accounting/Finance background 

-       Practical, hands-on and results orientated - willing to offer a high level of commitment and work to tight deadlines

-       Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken), any other language(s) is a clear advantage

-       Accurate worker and able to meet deadlines

-       Advanced skill in Excel is essential and a working knowledge of Oracle is highly desirable
