Software Developer Intern
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a $3.2 Billion in vitro diagnostics operating company that is wholly owned by Danaher Corporation, is seeking a Software Developer Intern for its Cloud and Data Platform team. This team has several potential intern projects for 2018.  The position reports to the R&D Manager for Cloud & Data Platform team located in Brea, California

You will have the opportunity revolutionize the medical device industry and help build the next generation web based software utilizing medical instrument data.

Responsibilities
  • Understand software requirements, translating them into detailed software design in accordance with the existing architecture.
  • Code and unit test new user interfaces; perform appropriate design reviews and code inspections.
  • Ensure adherence to the agile scrum software development processes.
  • Ensure compliance to organizational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors (junior) or Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology with a GPA of 3.0 or better
  • At least 1 years of experience with HTML/CSS/javascript/Java/SQL and web services
  • Good understanding of software development processes.
  • Good written and verbal English communication.
  • High levels of creativity and quick problem solving capabilities
  • Exposure to Amazon Web Services would be a plus
