Pall Corporation is seeking a talented and experienced individual ready to develop the software platform for the next generation of filtration and separation products and technologies. This position reports to the Director of Product Development, IoT Platforms. The primary areas of focus include development of software platform(s) supporting intelligent filtration products with increased health monitoring capability and enhanced functionality.

• Assist in the development cycle for IoT/Connected Product software platforms supporting filtration and separation products and technologies for Pall Corporation. Responsibilities include:
• Lead/co-lead the development of Web/Cloud based solutions for both logging of product performance data and hosting of a commercial transaction environment for order fulfillment
• Develop software product specifications based on Marketing & Development team input and Voice of the Customer data (e.g. Web and apps/user interfaces)
• Develop/code algorithms for predictive analytics that provide end users with product lifing estimations, trends and actionable alerts
• Research the feasibility and applicability of new software ideas and technologies as required
• Coordinate the activities and input of subject matter experts across multiple disciplines as they pertain to the development of software platforms
• Participate in the production of project plans, including schedule and budget and performance measurements thereof as they pertain to the development of software platforms
• Participate in the development and maintenance of the software product cost model, including documentation for code development and final user documentation
• Participates in the organizing and coordinating work flow through the R&D and support organizations for software development related activities including development of prototype code, testing, legal, sales, marketing, manufacturing and procurement departments
• Participates in the execution of planned initiatives for continuous improvement of software development best practices
• Participate in presentations for project updates, gate meetings, and reviews to senior management as required
• Participate in regular team meetings with respect to software development activities
• Participate in periodic project risk assessments and prepare mitigation plans as required in relation to software development activities
• Help manage Intellectual Property related to software development activities
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams as required to ensure customer requirements and expectations are captured and to jointly develop a winning value proposition
• Collaborate with the User Experience group to ensure the next generation of software products are designed inclusive of human factor, aesthetic, and corporate identity considerations

• Assist in software development activities related to various projects within Pall as required
• Assist with preparing department budgets, technology roadmaps, and department initiatives as the pertain to software development activity
• Mentor and coach team members in all aspects of the software development cycle as opportunities arise
