  • * Performs pertinent mechanical setups and change overs of packaging equipment not limited to fillers, cappers and labelers, of several types at varying stages of the production lines performing actions quickly and safely at all times.

    * Performs simple calculations according to procedures, and maintains accurate records of work performed according to GLP, GMP, and QSRs. All paperwork and other minor administrative tasks must be completed daily at the beginning and/or end of the shift.

    * Performs simple maintenance of equipment to ensure it is completely functional and safe to operate.

    * Participates on a Continuous Process Improvement Team, and is a contributor to team efforts within the department.

    * Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

    * Trains and advises production personnel in manufacturing procedures for product formulations and testing as well as operation of machinery.

    * Supports writing of necessary reports, may initiate manufacturing document change orders, and prepare standard operating procedures for processes.

    * Participates in troubleshooting of various methods of production processes and recommend solutions or process improvements.

    * Participates in pilot and first production batches of new products and review detailed descriptions of batching procedures to ensure batch reproducibility/manufacturability.

    * Interacts with departments and colleagues within and outside of Production as needed, including, but not limited to, QC, QA, Development, Marketing, Engineering, etc.

Job Requirements


  • Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, machinery operation experience or trade certificate is preferred
  • Two-three years manufacturing work experience is preferred, especially in an FDA/ISO regulated manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience operating automated packaging/bottling equipment is preferred.
  • Must be able to follow approved work instructions with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work tasks
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Possesses excellent communication and time management skills
  • Experience with MS Office products
  • Ability to stand on feet for prolong periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
