The Senior Technical Publications Specialist manages incoming work for Technical Publications team, provide backup support to manager when required; support ChemTreat's sales and customer-retention efforts through accurate document preparation.
  • Review and schedule incoming Technical Publications work requests
  • Produce bid responses, proposals, manuals, and other Technical Publications as requested to support ChemTreat's sales and customer-retention efforts
  • Proof and edit Technical Publications for other specialists
  • Handle miscellaneous requests as received in department or assigned
  • Maintain Technical Publications-managed SharePoint libraries
  • Augment personal and professional skills
  • Share interdepartmental communications
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


  • Excellent typing, grammatical, proofing, editing skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environment.

  • High school education; business school or college courses preferred
  • 3+ years relevant experience; strong project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe 7.0
  • Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk, stand, climb (includes stairs), balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell
  • Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.
  • Routinely required to reach with hands and arms, squat, turn/twist, or reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
