Description

The Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and will provide operational oversight for the Talent Acquisition Team in North America, to support Danaher’s Water Quality Platform.  As part of a high-performing global Talent Acquisition team, the Sr. TABP will not only recruit for leadership roles, but will help drive the strategy, delivery and execution of hiring plans with operating companies within this geography. The role will assist in the daily management and distribution of work to maximize operational efficiency while working closely with HR partners, hiring managers and business leaders to provide a best-in-class hiring experience to new hires.  

Responsibilities:
  • In conjunction with the North America Talent Acquisition recruiters, develop and lead hiring initiatives to meet overall business recruiting goals
  • Directly lead resources and maintain oversight to monitor hiring activity for new hires within geographical regions
  • Recruit for leadership roles across the Platform and provide backup support on requisitions as needed when recruiters are at capacity. 
  • Understand the market challenges to assist the team to identify new talent pools.
  • Continuously monitor metrics and ensure team is meeting or exceeding agreed upon SLA’s, utilizing data to interpret trends and build plans for areas of concern
  • Using Danaher Business System tools and methodologies, partner with TA Operations Analyst to drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed team KPIs. 
  • Create and foster relationships with company resources to expand or modify services to support departmental growth and efficiency
  • In partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition, participate in the preparation and delivery of monthly and quarterly business reviews for deep dive on recruiting performance and activity for business & partners.
  • Provide leadership, appreciation, mentoring and evaluation to recruiting teams
  • Partner with business, HR business partners and talent management leader to align on talent demand and consistently engage for business continuity and planning.
  • Hold weekly and monthly team meetings to provide operational status updates as well as hold regular 1:1’s with team recruiters

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Experience & Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint 
  • 3+ years’ experience running and leading large recruiting teams
  • 5-7+ years related experience in Talent Acquisition/Staffing
  • Prior experience managing candidate pipelines either utilizing a CRM or similar method(s)
  • Experience with managing cross-functional projects as well as negotiating and influencing others
  • Experience building and implementing programs on a national scale, with a track record of measurable results and continuous improvement

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Extraordinary partnership skills with validated ability and experience to execute recruiting strategy, influence partners, provide insight into talent markets to take the best approach and deliver results.
  • Ability to analyze data sets and interpret ongoing trends
  • Knowledge of Taleo or other ATS systems and reporting
  • Executive-caliber verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both on a team (as member and/or leader) and to independently to deliver results
  • Desired strong project management skills with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Client focused individual with outstanding judgement and a creative problem solver
  • Disciplined self-starter; resourceful and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with multiple and changing objectives
Travel:
  • Moderate travel (~30-40%) is required in North America and other regions as needed.
