Description

To strengthen our R&D team, we are looking for a development engineer. As a member of the 
R&D Mechanical Engineering team, this individual will be responsible for the following activities:
  • Responsible for continuously improvement of our Lab Automation Products
  • Develops technical specifications and definition of system interfaces.
  • Performs technical failure analyzes and leads HW design change activities of complex product elements.
  • Generates design concepts, develops detailed designs.
  • Ensures design meets specifications and fulfills its intended purpose.
  • Leader in the collaboration with other functional groups, including Manufacturing, Quality, Test, Prototyping and Service.Participates and initiates design reviews with a cross functional team.
  • Works with suppliers to ensure manufacturability and to address technical issues.

Zur Verstärkung unseres R&D Teams suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine(n) Entwicklungsingenieur(in). Als Teammitglied der R&D Abteilung Mechanical Engineering sind Sie verantwortlich für folgende Tätigkeiten:

  • Selbstständige Entwicklung von Baugruppen der Laborautomation vom Konzept bis zur Serienreife unter Berücksichtigung der geltenden Normen und Bestimmungen (Qualitätsmanagement)
  • Umsetzen von neuen Features und Einbringen technischer Änderungen in die aktuellen in der Serienproduktion befindlichen Produkte der Laborautomation
  • Erstellung von fertigungsgerechten Unterlagen (Zeichnungen; Stücklisten; etc.) für die Prototypenfertigung und Serienproduktion
  • Leitung und Koordination von Hardware Projektteams (z.B. bestehend aus Mitarbeitern der Produktion; Elektronik oder Prototypen/Testabteilung)
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit allen an der Entwicklung beteiligten Abteilungen
  • Erstellung der für die Konstruktion erforderlichen Requirements (Pflichtenhefte)

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering; Medical Technology; Mechatronics or similar and 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technical principles, theories, and concepts in mechanical engineering and ability to employ sound project management.
  • Mechanical Design – Expertise regarding mechanical development and design change processes and related documentation
  • Strong working knowledge of CAD/CAE tools (NX/Teamcenter and SolidWorks/Smarteam).
  • Design Control – Knowledge in the application of design controls (Quality Management System).
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead the completion of major programs, processes and/or projects.
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to focus efforts, overcome obstacles and complete key objectives.
  • Continuous learner that seeks out challenges to improve skills.
  • Innovative “out of the box” thinker that gets things done.
  • Team-minded with ability to build excellent working relationships with colleagues.
  • Written and verbal English/German communications skills

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium (FH/TU) als Diplom-Ingenieur Feinwerktechnik/ Maschinenbau/ Medizintechnik (oder vergleichbar) mit Schwerpunkt mechanische Konstruktion;
  • Kenntnisse der Elektrotechnik sind von Vorteil
  • Mehrere Jahre Konstruktionserfahrung in der Entwicklung von hochwertigen Geräten/Baugruppen der Automatisierungstechnik; Robotertechnik etc.
  • Erfahrungen in der Medizintechnik und dem zugehörigen Qualitätsmanagement bzw. der Dokumentation von Produkten der Medizintechnik sind von Vorteil
  • Umgang mit 3D-CAD (Solidworks und/oder NX4)
  • Sehr gutes Know-How in den Bereichen Konstruktion, Berechnung, HW Test und Simulation
  • Teamfähigkeit; Belastbarkeit; kommunikatives Auftreten
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
