I. GENERAL SUMMARY & OVERALL CHALLENGES
For over 50 years Radiometer is a leading provider of advanced solutions for emergency diagnosis. Integrated in the U.S. Danaher Group, which includes more than 400 companies, Radiometer represents an important component in Medical Business. As a global leader in blood gas analysis, the company distributes its products in over 100 countries. Radiometer’s Headquarters is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In Germany, Radiometer has about 200 employees, and a turnover of more than 85 million Euros. Its customers include the entire German hospital market, established doctors and laboratories. With Radiometer’s integrated solutions key processes in Point-of-Care and Emergency Diagnosis are simplified and automated. Among others, the following products are available:
• Blood gas analysis devices
• Immunoassay
• Analyzers
• Software solutions
• Transcutaneous monitors and sensor electrodes
• Samplers
• QC solutions

Radiometer offers its customers continuous product training and technical support so that they can benefit from products without interruption and apply them quickly. In addition, Radiometer also offers support for the definition and implementation of processes for quality assurance with its QA Portal.


The position is of the Director Finance Radiometer Germany

II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interact with our finance back-office team in charge of all accounting booking by supervising the delivered services reviewing balance sheet reconciliation, reporting and following group accounting standards.
• Prepare forecast, budget and related analysis & bridges.
• Track deferred revenues (lease contracts) and profitability.
• Local lead on SOX compliance internal/external audit.
• Prepare statutory accounts, audit report, legal and tax (HGB and US GAAP)
• Drive working capital improvements, credit management & collection.
• Drive performances initiatives, actions plan.
• Strategic and operative control of all commercial processes of the company including sales administrative
• Planning and implementation of strategies to optimize the internal processes and IT systems (DBS) and policy deployment (ISO)
• Planning and controlling the necessary profitability by focusing on continuous improvement and cost reduction as well as increasing efficiency
• lead the staff in the area of finance, customer service and logistics and develop your teams in a professional and disciplinary way
• "business partner" for management team members

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
a) Formal Education & Work experience
• Successfully completed business studies with a focus on finance and accounting and controlling
You have many years of professional experience in a managerial position in
• finance & controlling in the commercial sector of an international enterprise.
• Experience in the management of employees and managers
Good knowledge of international accounting standards and SOX (HGB / US GAAP)


b) Competencies / Skills / Experience
• Strong in problem solving
• Ability to exercise sound of judgement and decision making
• Situational leadership skills
• Very good communication skills across all organizational levels
• Team player with high decisiveness, independence and persuasive power
• Proactive commitment and close relationship to the operating business
• Experience in project management and change management skills
 
c)  Language
Negotiable German and English skills complete your profile

d)  IT
• Has worked with AX dynamics or comparable ERP
• Experience with Finance Reporting Systems, BI tools
• Is experienced with Excel, numbers and independent analyses.

e) Travel (required estimated % of time)
Travel of up to 30 days a year is to be expected
