The Senior Agreement Analyst role is an integral part of the Commercial Operations Contract and Pricing team and is responsible for agreement creation, financial evaluation, structuring pricing, contract tracking and compliance management for all types of Advanced Staining, Core Histology and Pathology Imaging agreements to support our Sales teams  for Leica Biosystems.  This role is based in our Buffalo Grove, IL office.   In this role, the Analyst will be expected to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, balance internal and external business operation demands and bring a strong foundation of sales operations, work flow and process improvement experience to the team. 

This individual will be responsible for analyzing incoming quote and proposals for agreement creation to include coordinating internal flow of information to assemble contract language and financial inputs.  Ability to draft and modify contract language is required.  Complete, accurate, timely and compliant agreement creation and compliance tracking is critical.   Familiarity with the mechanics and financial modeling for consumable and capital acquisition structures, Healthcare GPO/IDN contracts, tracking contract compliance and managing renewal/agreement amendment activity is required.

  • Assist in the creation of proposals/quotes for Capital, Acquisition and Rental agreements, agreement addendums and bundled deals and RFQ’s/RFP’s
  • Review margins on proposal/quotes, addendums and bundles. Work with Finance to determine any additional charges/costs that relate to agreements
  • Approve quotes in CRM with approval of Regional Sales Managers, Sales VP’s or Commercial Operations management.
  • Review agreements signed by customer for completeness and accuracy.
  • Create/maintain database for review of agreements based on agreement start date
  • Track pricing on all agreement types for accuracy and implement scheduled agreement price increases as required
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Job Requirements


Professional Experience
  • 5+ years writing and coordinating agreements 
  • Experience with structuring and reviewing commercial transaction legal terms and conditions
  • Experience reviewing redlined documents and Master Terms
  • Familiarity with financial deal modelling and contract compliance tracking
  • Knowledge of medical device industry, clinical laboratories recommended
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
  • SAP or other ERP systems -  query / data mining / database management experience desirable 
  • Previous experience in finance, marketing and/or sales a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

  • English

  • Commercial Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Customer Service Teams 

  • IDN and GPO procurement, Legal, Medical and Lab departments
  • Hospital administration and procurement when needed/required
